The histopathology provides offers a full range of equipment for standard and advanced methods and assays for human and mouse tissues. Prof. Mauriello (TOR clinical division), head of the clinical histopathology section of the University Hospital Tor Vergata, provides academic supervision as well technical expertise and support to the TOR facility.

Prof. Mauriello also provides the TOR research groups with access to samples with full clinical profile from the surgical oncology of the University Hospital Tor Vergata. In partnership with Indivumed, the TOR Histopathology is currently developing a cancer biobank.
