External Facilities

TOR has a formal scientific agreement with the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Spallanzani” (Prof M. Piacentini. deputy Scientific Director) to use facilities, including a Cryo-EM and two Zeiss confocal microscopies for morphological work, as well as a proteomic station with an Liquid Chromatography/Orbitrap system and a Maldi TOF/TOF mass spectrometer.  Available are also a  biocontainiment structure with one  P4 and two P3 laboratories and two NGS sequencers.

Similarly, a formal scientific agreement with the National Cancer Institute “Regina Elena-IFO” (prof. G. Ciliberto, Scientific Director) allows TOR to use a further two NGS sequencer, with ChIP seq, RNA seq and DRIP seq. A single cell sequencing is being set up by the end of 2020.
